Call for Presentations

This conference is being hosted by the IUFRO Working Group 2.02.20, Breeding and Genetic Resources of Southern US and Mexican Pines. It will take place over the course of 4 days, in the city of Jacksonville, Florida, in the beautiful southeastern USA. The official language of the conference will be English. Presenters are welcome to submit abstracts in the following subject areas:

  • Quantitative Genetics and Breeding Strategies
  • Molecular Genetics
  • Genomic Selection & Pedigree Reconstruction
  • Wood Properties
  • Hybrid Breeding and Testing
  • Somatic Embryogenesis & Clonal Forestry
  • Reproductive Biology & Seed Orchard Management
  • Population Genetics and Abiotic Stress Resistance
  • Disease and Pest Resistance

Abstract submission deadline is June 1, 2012. Notification of abstract review is July 1, 2012.
